Joyce DabbsWe are thrilled to have Certificates of Occupancy for Building 4 East and West. There are a few more items to complete prior to move in. Claremont is completing the final details in the East building and the West building’s waterproofing has been delayed with the rains but it is 80 % complete.
The East building will open on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 9:00 am
the West building will open on Friday, August.26, 2022 at 9:00 am (earlier if weather cooperates or later if it rains all week) and the Nest and common areas are closed until construction is completed.
The units that took the cash option will have to apply online for a permit. Most items will not require a permit however, removing a wall, relocating electrical outlets, switches or lighting, relocating plumbing, extending cabinets or countertops etc will require a permit and a licensed and insured contractor to complete the work. The permit must detail exactly what work is anticipated in order to get a valid permit. The owner will deal directly with the county.
You will obtain your keys from Security on the date the building opens. There are still lots of questions to be answered, so please be patient with the process.
